Michael, aka Mike, the mighty fighter. Michael was found on the grounds of a university and suffering from third degree burns when he was rushed to the AACL Cape Town. We don’t know how Michael sustained these awful burn wounds and whether it was accidental or intentional but we gently reassured him that we were here to help him.

We treated the wounds until they had healed and slowly but surely his hair started growing back and then in no time, Mike was a healthy & happy pooch once again.

He just loved running the enclosures with his other furry friends at the shelter and when his forever family arrived, he simply leapt into their arms.
