We named him Mo (after a Mohawk) because he arrived at the shelter with only a strip of hair on his back. This was another case of severe mange & malnutrition yet this one crept into the hearts of #TeamAACL. Mo was scared, weary and afraid. He’d been dumped on a field with some food in a packet just meters away from our Bellville branch. A very kind gentleman spotted Mo and brought him to the LEAGUE. All Mo wanted was a warm bed and a nutritious meal and this is exactly what he got. We made sure that his first night at the shelter was special and with the panel heater on, a bed with layers of blankets and some toys, he slept like a baby! After spending many months at the shelter, his hair started growing back and his true colour shone through.

He was such a happy chap when he was adopted by a loving family!
